WHAT SERVICES DO YOU OFFER?
We love being able to offer a little something for everyone. Right now, you’ll find sports, remedial, pregnancy and postpartum massages on our menu — each designed to support you through whatever life’s throwing your way. For new parents, we also offer baby massage classes; these can be booked as a 6-week course or enjoyed as private sessions (1:1, 1:2 or small group — whatever feels right for you). HOW DO I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT?
You can book in easily through our website — just hit the ‘book now’ tab. Questions? We’re just a message away on socials @harrismassagetherapy_, WhatsApp, or through our online enquiry form.
WHERE ARE YOU BASED?
You’ll find us at The Well in Stock, Essex — think calming neutrals, cosy welcoming spaces, and plenty of feel-good offerings. Upon booking, we will provide you with our full address and give further details for parking.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SPORTS MASSAGE AND REMEDIAL MASSAGE?
Sports massage is designed to target both superficial and deeper tissue structures using a range of techniques, making it the ideal treatment for an individual who is feeling tight, sore or struggling with recovery. Whereas, remedial massage is a more gentle treatment, targeting superficial muscles, as it is more-so centred around relaxation.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I HAVE A MASSAGE?
Like most things in self-care, the more you invest in massage, the more you’ll feel the benefits. If it’s general maintenance you’re after, we recommend booking in once a month to keep those niggles at bay. For injury-related treatments, it’s a little more individual and we’ll tailor it based on what your body needs.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO MY APPOINTMENT?
It’s important that you are comfortable for your appointment, however, please bear in mind that depending on the treatment area/s, you may need to remove clothing - so think ahead! We will, of course, provide towels and blankets to maintain your modesty throughout.
