POSTPARTUM MASSAGE

Calling all new mamas - this one is for you! Each postpartum journey looks different; whatever yours looks like, join me in the studio for an uplifting and restorative massage.

Breastfeeding? Deliver via c-section? Feel like your posture has collapsed? Sleep deprived and want to doze off? We’ve got you covered! Our postpartum massage, as with all our offerings, is personalised to suit you. I’m a firm believer that every postpartum journey is different and therefore each massage should be tailored to the mother’s wants and needs.

This massage is designed to target key areas that are put under extra stress during the last trimester, labour and those early postpartum months. The massage starts by working on the legs (helpful for lymphatic drainage), moving to the glutes and lower back (which do a tonne of work in pregnancy and labour, so this gets lots of love!), and then the back, shoulders and chest (great for opening up posture and alleviating tension from carrying, feeding and weird sleep positions!). All finished with a neck and head massage - dreamy! Pressure wise, think long sweeping strokes and a medium, yet purposeful, pressure 💕

Don’t want to be away from your baby? No worries, my goal is to facilitate a safe space for new mums. So, bring your baby with you (and any tools you might need, i.e. pram, car seat, bouncer, and even a carrier). I’ll rock, bop, play with, sing to and even wear your baby - all in the name of postpartum massage. When you book ‘with baby’, the system will automatically block an extra 30 minutes out; so if we need to stop, then we can… and you still get your full massage time!
